About Expense Reduction Analysts UK

A little about us

Expense Reduction Analysts UK act as b2b management consultants to a range of organisations. We support you to win business, run projects and work together with fellow Franchise Partners to generate sustainable savings for businesses, schools and charities.

Over the last 20 years, we’ve built a powerful and unique network of expertise that collaborate to work on behalf of clients.

All new Franchise Partners are initially trained to be ‘Generalists’ so they can build a sustainable business by winning and managing their own clients and doing their own simple projects which are taught through training.

Many Franchise Partners eventually settle into a more specialised role, concentrating on winning new business, managing existing business – or a combination of the two – or specialising in delivering project work and reports.

These Project Specialists sometimes come from a supply side background or a particular industry, or they have developed specialist categories since joining ERA UK – relatively few Franchise Partners have actually had a ‘procurement’ job title.

Talk to us if you have experience in any of our Areas of Expertise – or you think you have your own unique background to capitalise on.

Roughly equal numbers of our most successful Franchise Partners specialise either as Project Specialists, or as Business Development Managers, so a background in sales is also welcome.

Our Experience and Expertise

Expense Reduction Analysts UK are a business consultancy, offering strategic advice and practical methods which optimise supplier relationships. In practice, we have a network of circa 140 Franchise Partners.

Our professional consultants are men and women with executive skills and experience gained during long careers at a senior level. We use their expertise to provide advice to businesses on how to get the best deal from suppliers, increase profitability, market visibility and improve their bottom lines.

We develop long term relationships then stay with our clients as trusted advisors. This ensures that we give the best strategic advice, maximise the savings we identify, ensure they are delivered and keep prices in check.

We help to:

  • Improve internal processes
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Benchmark prices
  • Conduct tendering exercises
  • Integrate and identify new suppliers
  • Minimise costs without compromising standards
  • Offer professional and strategic business advice

The ERA UK Brand

Our corporate brand has undergone something of a renaissance in the last five years. A strategic change in positioning has taken ERA UK from a pure cost management and savings company, to a fully-fledged consultancy business.

Investment in our marketing department has led to an internal marketing agency with the full range of design, copywriting and strategy services you could expect in corporate life.

A newly developed website, regular campaigns, digital strategy, promotional material, thought leadership and a fully performance managed telemarketing function means Franchise Partners and their clients can be sure that their experience with ERA UK will be first class throughout.

A unique network of collaboration

Our numbers have grown too – we’re now proud to say that we have a unique network of b2b management consultants able to deliver a truly wide range of services to clients. You certainly won’t have to turn down any business!

Over the last twenty years in franchising, ERA UK has developed a network of circa 140 specialists. We have categorised our offering into 35 major Cost Groups, beneath which are 300 individual categories in which organisations spend money.

Our consultants are professional businessmen and women with executive skills that have gained experience during long careers in industry within their particular areas of expertise. Our project specialists have unrivalled knowledge and use their skill, judgment and experience to provide the kind of help and advice to organisations that result in process improvement and financial savings.

A typical engagement may begin with three or four smaller projects, or one large one, if a client has a particular need in one major area. By demonstrating our expertise we are able to open up new conversations with clients leading to ongoing relationships that can last ten years or more.

Here’s a snapshot of the current offer we have for clients. Maybe you can bring some new expertise into the network?
